Nah DAL ain't dealing Hintz for one year of Kreider. We're already pretty low on good young players, Hintz is not available.

I originally had Robertson, but the Rangers fans didn't seem to like that.

Robertson would be even worse actually. He's probably the best prospect of ours outside of NHL.

NYR fans are delusional, and it's not the first time I'm saying that.

So value wise, it's fair? Or you are saying it favors the Rangers? (This armchair is assuming DAL goes 100% all in next year)

Nope. I said earlier that DAL is not paying Hintz or Robertson for one year of Kreider. Their prospect pool is too lacking and they've wasted quite amount of picks for rentals this year, so moving prospects is pretty much out of question at this point.

Besides, now that Hintz has become a regular NHL player, his statistics are actually quite nice. 13 points in last 20 games. It's not a stretch to assume he could be a solid 50-point versatile forward for DAL in the future. Long-term, that's much more valuable for DAL than one year of Kreider.

However, I could see NYR getting that kind of return from other teams that have greater prospect pool. DAL is a bad option in that since their prospect pool is relatively lacking.

1. Hintz is the 2C of the future and will be a stud.
2. Lindell is not signed for under 4.5
3. Kreider is a middle 6 forward at best, so that is a massive over payment.
