You overpay Hall, you overpay Kreider and probably overpay Panarin too.
You are in deep trouble in like 2-3 years. And this team got no chance on the cup. So what the hell are you doing?

Although Hall is overpaid, there is no cap hell or "deep trouble" to be seen here, as Shattenkirk, Staal, and Lundqvist are all FAs next year, and all of them will be taking HUGE pay cuts if they stay. There's plenty of money to keep that squad together and let them start to compete in a couple of years.
