Is Panarin’s asking price that high now? I though he was somewhere around the 10M mark, this looks good but I can only hope we have Wahlstrom playing in the NHL team year as well as calling up Bellows

Montreal isn't going to trade Danault. He's their best center and we need him.

As from what I've heard it is. I also bumped it up a little bit extra as we probably aren't the first team on his list he wants to go to so we might need to dish out a bit of extra money. I didn't bring Bellows up since he hasn't had the best year in the AHL and I want Wahlstrom up next year too so maybe he finds his way into the roster next year!

Habs also have Kotka, Poehling, and could potentially accquire another C in FA. That trade is hypothetically made if Habs get another C in FA or through a different trade should have wrote that inder the trade, apologies

None of Kotka, Poehling or any other free agent Center can do what Danault does. He's cheaper than any FA option and he's on a cheap contract. Unless we plan on full on rebuilding, he should stay.

Iv'e heard different things from different Habs fans. It could always be a differrent player on a different team, Danault was who I thought of for this post.

If another Habs fan said something different, they are an idiot. Danault shouldn't be available under any circumstances UNLESS Poehling can prove otherwise, we will not know that until the pre-season

I mentioned Poehling earlier.

I highlight Unless for a reason. Danault should not be available unless Poehling can prove otherwise. Which mean Danault is staying here until atleast training camp. And even if Poehling proves he can be a defensive player. I would imagine we move Domi to the wing before we'd trade Danault

No disrespect, but I think Leddy can fetch more than Danault…. I like him as the 3C, though.

I was also thinking about trading him for the same framework that was done with Hamonic. (1st, and two 2nd's)

I mean with the way they have been playing this season/postseason you can definitely say that they don't. I just feel like the Isles need a pure goal scorer to help out on offense. However, if Eberle manages to keep up this level of play, he could be that.
