No, I'm saying that while the grammar was terrible, proven ability to perform at a certain level with potential to improve was both a correct assessment of Pettersson and the obvious meaning of the comment. If you feel the need to correct bad grammar go for it. I just don't see the point on a site like this. Heck if it had been properly punctuated as 'proven elite, potential franchise centre' instead of lacking the comma this wouldn't even be a discussion. Or maybe this site just has so much poor grammar spread all over it that I just correct it to something that makes sense in my head, because let's be honest proven potential is barely on the radar of bad English seen on this site.
