    It won't happen, but I think Vancouver should seriously think about trading them. VAN is still on the decline and could fetch a huge return while acquiring future talent.

    Canucks fan here. I've made several Sedin trade posts that have this scenario where Van maximizes their return by retaining half of the twins' salaries. It would allow many more teams to get into the bidding. If it was the Isles I'd really hope to see Barzal going to Van as the centerpiece, even if it means taking a less than desirable contract (or two) back. But it's all a dream. They're Canuck lifers.

    This isn't a good trade for the Isles. At all. would be worse if Barzal was in it as above poster suggested. Sedins are old and on decline and are slow. wont work in the Metro.
