Flames say no. Jones hasn't showed anything good this year.. go after Murray from Pittsburgh for something though. Maybe a package around Valimaki (I know Calgary didn't wanna move him for Stone) but Murray is a young goalie that's proven to win. Pittsburgh might be ready to move on from him after multiple playoff disappointments now

Not much to gamble here at all. If jones works out... Great!!! If not, nothing lost. Not sure the sharks make the trade though.

When were the "Multiple" disappointing playoffs?

He has twice as many cups as disappointing playoffs

back to back playoffs of save percentages at .908% and .902%... he has 2 cups. so at best that's even. But those cups were 2 and 3 seasons ago. Plus he's struggled in the regular season in back to back years. & if you count his first season, he's really only had 1 good season of 4. His first season he only played 13 games so its not a fair assessment. Add in the fact that he's battled quite a bit of injury history, and it might be smart to cash in on his value while you can and use Jarry and or sign a UFA. Valimaki is a very good prospect/young player that could help Pittsburgh d-core.
