this would be amazing for one season but gotta resign Vasilevskiy at the end of next season and i dont see him wanting to sign for half of what he is worth to come under to the cap and allow them to sign their RFAs

Especially after seeing Price and soon Bobrovsky signed to a huge contract.

Not enough money, or years for Karlsson. Maybe $9m for 10 years, or $11m at least for 7 years, but not both.

Yeah Karlsson has been so good with San Jose .. lol.. buyer beware on Karlsson and for cultural dumpster fire that is Tampa .. this is last thing you need.

Talk is that Erik Karlsson wants 7 x 12 and he wont take a discount to sign in a tax friendly State.

They will need to do that just to resign Sergachev and Foot to bridge deals. The only way they would survive that cap is if they are very creative in the expansion draft in 2020 and can let Seattle take some of their cap issues for some picks and even then Vasilevskiy contract talks will be starting at 10 mil
