So the plan is to ignore the Cap and overpay?

Kadri - for his flaws - is worth more than a second. Zuccarello went for a 2nd and 3rd without ever reaching 30 goals. Dzingel for a failing prospect and two 2nds. Hayes trade to WPG might be a better model - Prospect, 1st and 4th

Kings don’t need Kadri. The kids need to start playing. (Vilardi ?? And JAD). I wouldn’t trade the kings 2nd for him. Yes he’s worth a 2nd but I personally wouldn’t, not with how high it is.

Think you're all the right track that some high priced forward is going have to be traded for non cap pick(s) or prospects.

Johnsson's max would be 3/10. I think he'd look for a 3 year deal to go into FA.

Kapanen seems to be the perfect offersheet guy, if they really existed. He is probably a 2 year bridge deal guy at max 3 mil.

Kadri is tough. Pre Matthews ok production. With Matthews great production. With Tavares, ok production.
