Add a third to the Toronto trade and resign Hoffman so he doesn't walk in Free Agency

Hoffman and a 7th cost FLA a 2nd, 4th and 5th. If they're trading him it's because they need the cap space for some big-name UFA's - they'll take less than the trade above to make it happen. Offer them a 2nd and a d prospect and make the 2nd conditional on him re-signing.

The Toronto trade won't work - the Leafs need to dump salary, not take on more. Brown for a 3rd is the highest I'd go. Trade Russell to a team that has cap space.

Tyler Myers struggles against 3rd pairing comp, if you're banking on him taking on 1st pairing comp for the next 6 years you'll be very, very disappointed. He's the most sheltered of Winnipeg's regulars and yet his results are still well below average. Big, big mistake there.
