BAHAHAHA, this is a huge over-payment for a defenseman that has no clue how to play D. Voracek would be a welcomed addition to the 2 current top 6Fs you have.

Now with that, I want no part of Risto as he "bolsters" nothing.

No thank you to either trade; they're both massive overpayments.

Why? We have no one on the right wing except Reinhart, I don't want to see Okposo in the top 6 again.

Because he is making too much money and we should slot young players in the top 6 so they have success. Our top 6 currently is Eichel, Mitts, Olofsson, Nylander, Reinhart, and Skinner if he resigns. Nothing wrong with that imo.

Voracek is the player on a stable 60+ points, Yes, his contract is of course embarrassing, but what Nylander in the top 6? He has another injury, we have been waiting for so many years until he will play in the NHL, and he is either not stable or sitting with an injury. Our top 6 should be in the next season: Eichel, Reinhart, Skinner, Olofsson and +2 new players which have to find Botterill, Mittelstadt was not ready for 2C role, themselves, ruin a player by putting him in this role and allowing to play difficult minutes.

The trades might be a bit of an overpayment but I still like em and think they'd more than make up for the "loss" of voracek, that is if you could actually get buffalo to accept (can't see winnipeg declining). The only major thing I'd change is the free agent signings. I'd rather see Duchene (9-10mil) and Connolly (3.5) than Hayes (6.25) and Zuc (5.25) despite the extra million+ cap hit.
