Brady at Center

Created by: Claesson4Norris
Team: 2018-19 Ottawa Senators
Initial Creation Date: Apr. 18, 2019
Published: Apr. 18, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
I don't know if this would actually make sense, but I think if they went that route, he'd make a good center. He's played the position before, and was really strong in the faceoff dots, which was impressive for a rookie winger.

Just a random thought more than anything, but I wanted to see what it looked like.

I don't mind the idea at all. The only condition is I would want to see his skating improve come training camp. He's not the smoothest, in fact sometimes he looks awkward. If he can get quicker with his transitions and acceleration I think him at C could be good.

I think his skating will right itself once he fills out a bit more. He looked like Bambi at times. He would stop up or make a sharp turn, and he'd lose his legs from under him. When he did get up to speed I thought his skating was fine, it's just the balance/ co-ordination that needs work.

He was the same way though right? Big guy, just didn't have the strength for his size yet.

Yes, that's what it seems like. Once his coordination catches up to his frame, I could see him being a monster Centre. He is still young enough to work on that explosiveness, which is a weak point imo. But at the end of the day, he's 19 turning 20 in the fall. So much time to develop those attributes
