Kerfoot, Makar, and OTT 1st rd pick is an overpayment for acquiring Brayden Point. The Bolts didn't even want to give up Point and Sergachev for Karlsson so there's no way that Avs trade happens. Then again, Sakic would demand Jupiter and the moon if he were to trade Makar and Ottawa's pick.

If they're gonna trade a star forward, it would be Stamkos. This would be like the Avs trading MacKinnon instead of Duchene two years ago (and that was before MacKinnon had established himself as the clearly better player).
