He said a ton of ****. Malkin for PK? Better add C and RD from the other team so no depth would be harmed. Like Malkin and Schultz for PK and Turris deal of some sorts. Also.. Malkin is not being moved but valuewise its not that far..

First problem with your post is "Eklund said...". It doesnt matter what the rest states.

If Eklund reported that it was raining in Toronto I would want 3 separate sources to validate that claim.

Agreed, that it would have to be restructured a bit for depth purposes. I feel like the Preds have some changes coming for various reasons such as cap space, Seattle, and potential first round elimination. Last on the PP during regular season and 0-fer in the playoffs, gotta think there are some type of assistant coaching changes too. Unfortunate that Preds may have to look to move PK, but he and Turris seem like most logical candidates.

Subban and granlund

That’s very interesting to say the least lmao. I’m a huge PK subban fan. If pens were offered Subban+Granlund for Malkin I think it would be very tough to turn down. With that being said, Eklund is obviously full of **** and is just stiring up the pot for clickbait. Malkin won’t be traded

I think the league has fully soured on subban. They’ve realized that there was the cool factor. I call him the Bryce Harper of the nhl. He’s jus not that good, but when he does something good, it looks really cool. When he scores a goal it’s a rocket bar down, and you think, wow, that guy is so good. Buuuuut at the end of the day is he really that much different than Krug, or Tyson Barrie? Probably not. He didn’t deserve his Norris.

The only way a one for one could happen is if the league starts to sour on Malkin too

I disagree. I'm not a Nashville or Montreal fan so I never had any direct "bias" for Subban. I think what we saw this season was an off year. it happens to players throughout their career. subban is one of the few defensemen that can take over a game. just last year during the 17/18 season he was a second team all star and nominated for the Norris. he got 59 points and averaged over 24 mins a game. he was a beast. in MTL he was by far their best skater, and it wasn't even close. Krug and Barrie just don't have the "game changing" ability that subban has. hes not "great" defensively but neither is Brett Burns, Erik Karlsson, etc... I think subban's offensive skill set is among the best in the league.

He can take over a game and had 59 points. He can also throw horrible turnovers in his own end trying to do too much. You can say all those things about Krug

subban is ALOT better than Krug. he does try to do so much but so do guys like Karlsson, burns, Letang, etc.. he's also not as bad defensively as people think. yeah sure hes made some horrible turnovers trying to do so much but id say hes much better in his own end then guys like Rielly, Burns, etc...

Rielly is a train wreck defensively. what does subban do good defensively? or in general? cause hes probably got one of the best highlight tapes in the league for Dmen lol

Exactly. When he does something good, he does it with flare. We’ll flare doesn’t matter on the scoresheet. He’s Torey Krug or Tyson Barrie with flare

plays like this:

matter more than what the scoresheet shows wink

he has the ability to not only change a game, but an entire series.

So do Krug and Barrie. All three players also can torpedo their team
