Funny enough, I think it's a hell of an overpay--but it doesn't fit with the direction Vancouver is going. It doesn't make any sense for MTL either, Petry is much superior than both Stecher & Virtanen.

Regarding the Flyers deal, do they have any prospects coming up to replace Ghost's production? He's at worst their #3D, which is important for a team looking to improve.

I mean, does philly have a pipeline of top-4-ready LD to replace Ghost? I don't follow that side of hockey as well.

To get younger and make place to our young guys in the roster. We wont win the stanley cup in 2020 and Petry si getting older, when our prospect will be old enough to make an impact, petry will be past is prime. Also, Virtanen could use a new team and could blow off like domi did. Stecher is still young, good and reliable
