Each trade needs more coming back to the jets. RNH is equal to ehlers but ehlers is sogned long term. Add a pick or prospect

I would say a 3rd or 4th coming back for perreault

Trouba alone signed should get that return. Add little and we want more. Add at least a 1st

Sens won't have any interest in Perreault; if you're treating him as a cap dump, gotta pay the team to take him. If you're treating him as a player with value (which he should be), it's not going to be to a rebuilding team for a pick.

Oilers decline. Trading a 70 point Center for a guy who was on pace for 50 points makes no sense

Trouba is signed for one year, according to this ACGM, and isn't worth Risto, Sheary and a 2 nd. Little is a semi cap dump. He's 31. Not quite in the Sabres age range for their long term plan. That said, I'd do one year of Trouba and Little with 1 mil retained for Ristolainen and Sheary.

Buffalo accepts, but why would Trouba want to play for Buffalo if he's sour to WPG? Doesn't seem like it would work with Buffalo.

Then why should we accept if Trouba doesn't want to play for us?

Oh my bad. I thought it was Trouba with an extention. Without an extention I like that package above. I think the 2nd should stay there

What? Wonderful deal? Ristolainen + Sheary + 2nd for annual rent Trouba? Not sure this is a great deal for Buffalo.

assuming a extension is done with Trouba of course. Otherwise just walk away from the deal.

Trouba doesn't want to play in Canada. Buffalo is not in Canada so there is a good chance things will work out depending on how much he gets paid.

When Trouba sat out, His agent Kurt Overhardt stated that Trouba has no desire to play in Buffalo. With Yzerman being GM in Detroit now. Trouba coming home to Detroit seems more and more likely. But i still wouldn't rule out Florida either.

Yeah but i doubt Trouba does, Doubt he has any interest in leaving Winnipeg for Buffalo. He'll come home to Detroit before he signs with the Sabres.

Totally agree with you, Sounds like Trouba has 3 preferred destinations, And Buffalo isn't one of them. New York Rangers, Detroit Red Wings, Florida Panthers possibly Tampa Bay Lightning.

Dreger mentioned it awhile back, But in Buffalo's defence now they've added some nice core players. So who know's if he still feels the same way.

Detroit is no better a city than Buffalo. you make it seem like Detroit is in cali or something...

Sabres have Eichel and Dahlin

Detroit does not
