What do you think about the other trades/signings? Getting Panarin and Karlsson for the three years while Jack and Petey are on their rookie contracts isn't a bad idea I don't think.

The knights trade is odd, leafs trade isn’t happening due to cap. I could see kappy for stecher if he will not sign a short deal.

Panarin just might change his mind and sign in cbj if not he is headed to the rangers or hawks I think. Karlsson is a maybe.

Correct... on an ELC he can't make too much than the 850... will probably be 950 + bonuses.

No it would not lmfao. New Jersey would easily trade Jack Hughes for Pettersson alone. I’m so sick of players who’ve never played an NHL game be more valuable than a PPG rookie who carries his team. Ridiculous

Also, some of those assets were used by Avalanche/Nordiques as key assets in the Patrick Roy trade

I'm not saying Jack Hughes is Eric Lindros 2.0. An additional note is the Quebec/Colorado got all these assets for a player that publicly expressed in disinterest in playing for Nordiques/Avalanche
