On a side note, I hope everyone has noticed that CapFriendly has updated the first-round order to show Tampa Bay's pick is now #27. I'm hoping that the Golden Knights and Blue Jackets will move out of the way of my two local teams.

I would agree with you that 9 of the 10 picks on your list make complete sense. My only comment is that the Ducks may draft for positional need (Soderstrom). Great job!

Yes. I think that they should be looking at a center or right-handed defenseman. Otherwise, I can actually see a scenario in which you are 100% correct about the other teams, although Byram and Cozens might be switched.

P.S. I used a poor choice of words. I didn't mean to imply that picking Podkolzin doesn't make sense. What I was trying to convey is that I thought 9 out of your 10 picks are bang on, but I don't see the Ducks taking a RW at #9. If one of Cozens, Dach, Turcotte or Zegras is available there, they should take him; otherwise, they really need RhD's.
