yeah lol I was gonna say, if habs trade their first round pick+ third round pick to the leafs for Kap they'd take that and habs could sign him to a much cheaper contract

It will go up slightly. Offer the max dollar. Kapanen's bridge deal should be about 2.5 mil or so. Offering 16+ mil would be hard to pass.

That is a sure way to get him. The real value is 4 millions. There are overpayment on every rosters.

Yeah and if MTL did that, it would be a huge overpayment. So far Kap has been nonexistant in the playoffs...it's that worth a 1st and 3rd and $6M?

It is very difficult to deal with TML. Their roster has high value and the roster of every other teams is craps.

He is just 21 years old and plays reduce ice time. Give him a chance.

He's 23 in July this summer. You don't give chances to people with $6M a year contracts. It's a very bad move for MTL.

$4M would be a fantastic deal. Only a second rounder.

With 42 points, Ryan contract worths $4.2 M. The cost is $7.25. The cost of Alzner is $4.6. Alzner doesn't play. I think it is a fair deal.
