Because he's a hometown boy and he was good in Minnesota, he might have a boost ( you know like Domi ) with MTL. 1 year, after he's gone. We have cap space, he's better than Benn. Benn wants 2M+ for 2-4 years.

you’re basing yourself on what to say Scandella is better than Benn? Offensively, it’s similar, but Benn is more physical and block more shots...perfect for a #5-6.

I seriously hope that all this money will not be used to get an overpaid #5-6 defenseman...
