Based off recent contracts, Point will most likely demand more money. When you give him the money he demands, you will have trouble resigning Volkov, Cernak, Sergachev, Faulk, etc the next offseason
For this reason you would most likely have to get rid of more large contracts (not just Gourde and Callahan) in order to keep your core intact.

Killorn? We would give him to you for free. Unfortunately he has NTC.

2) The idea was to have Faulk only for 19-20 season.
3) There are more trades needed after 19-20, no doubt about that.

I understand your second point and agree with you on your third but I’ve got to contradict you on your first statement. I think he will demand more.

Personally i prefer Gourde, if Necas steps up next year Gourde looks more versatile on the wing,
