I doubt if Hainsey comes back for 1m. Yes some bigger cap player has to go...either Kadri or Nylander, or maybe a retired Marleau.

I think Hainsey would comeback for a decent price 1.5m.
Kadri has a great contract, so that puts him on the fence.
Kappy and Johnsson have the most dance partners. But Dubas wants to lock them up.
Willie is complicated if he scores a couple goals this afternoon and starts a hot streak that would raise his stock. The return for him would have to be that coveted top 4 RD.
Z is getting 2 mil too much, but if he ups his game the way he has been playing the last 4 weeks maybe he is worth keeping.
I would get rid of Brown (sadly).

A retired Marleau still counts against the cap. While Hainsey would come back for significantly less money, another possibility is that he retires.
