Calgary should be giving the Pens back James Neal.

That’s not a trade the Flames would do

And the flames give the higher pick? Put the bong down.

Pens aren’t trading Crosby’s best winger coming off a 40 goal year

The Flames are giving up the best player in the trade, 3rd best player and better draft pick. Tkachuk and Bennett along with Hamonic and Smith were some of our only competitors during the playoffs so they are virtually untouchable unless they are being overpaid for. That is quite possibly the worst trade the Flames could make.

of all things that's the first thing you notice? lol.

I don't think either team would do the deal just because they already like the guy they would be trading way.

nah Guentzel is the best player in the deal, flames would be 2nd and 3rd best. I think out of the four players in this deal though the only one that isn't really considered untouchable is Jarry. The other three wouldn't be getting moved.

My opinion is Tkachuk is better than Guentzel and Bennet is worth a lot more than Jarry.

while I might not say a lot, he is definitely worth clearly more than Jarry. I would put Jarry at like a second round pick. He will get traded at some point most likely. Guentzel is better than Tkachuk imo but I still don't think the flames would be willing to swap one for one. And I know the penguins would not either. Both are virtually untouchable on their current teams.
