I just think Pittsburgh desperately needs a guy who can step up when letang goes down (cause he’s injured at least once a year)
Trouba can play the big hard minutes.

I feel like LW seems kinda weak, how about you don’t get frolik and trade just hornqvist and go and sign either skinner or if you want more cap space Ryan Dzingal. Also try to get rid of that horrid player grundbranson?

Fair enough! They have cap space to get it done. You can also throw Guzental on the Left side. Too
As for Gubranson he was very solid on our backend. He’s not worth the 4 million price tag and Pittsburgh should definitely consider trading him but I was too lazy to replace him lol

For on ice value,/term it might be an overpayment by Pens for Trouba. But Jets are so cap strapped they would have to make other moves to do that trade.

We can take back a contract like Kulikov or Perrault. But we’d want a pick back for Kulikov

That is a lot of cap to take back. I would want to move back some salary. Probably Perreault. add a 3rd coming back to the jets though

Trouba will also probably command over 7 million

- Big fan of Jost ... I F'ing love that kid , im down
- Love Trouba to but maybe add something to us for both 3 & 4 ??
- Love Mantha ... Like it
- Nice Frolic trade , defensive minded forward - stick him on Geno's hip, lol.
- Think everyone is down on Rust for being hurt in playoffs... need that dude

-Yes fair enough. Jets can send us a piece back.
-as for rust, I just figured we could maybe use that 3.5 million more effectively but this team has a lot of cap so we could keep rust. Maybe send a pick to Carolina for Fleury. I think he could be a lame bloomer and worth the gamble

Probably one of the more realistic Trouba trades, Doubt he signs that low he wants closer to $7.5 million per or $8 million per from what's being reported.

After the way Mantha finished I don't see him being moved. But I have to agree with DiehardRedWingsFan58 that is one of better Trouba offers I've seen. I think it's fair for both sides.

Yeah fair enough I could totally see him getting 7 million+ long term.
As for the mantha Trade Ik wings wont move him I just think he’d be a great fit on genos wing.

- Not getting Jost and a first for Kessel, Jost is likely not available for Phil
- Not getting Fleury for Rust
- Winnipeg likely doesn't have cap space for that, and need to lose defenseman, not gain them. Especially with Schultz being a UFA after next year. They already have Tyler Myers needing resigned this summer, and I believe Chiariot as well.

1- Colorado has a surplus of young forwards, They could use a 2X cup champ like Phil Kessel on a gold cap hit. I think Jost is expendable for some offensive help now
2- rust is probably worth more, I sold low to relive cap. Fleury is a reclamation project
3- doubt Myers resigns in Winnipeg, even if he does, pit can take some cap back
