if you want kreider (obviously you would want an extension with getting him) rangers will ask for Hamilton.. they may not get it, but that's the value they'd want in return. Fox is coming to the rangers next year, so rangers have the leg up in negotiations. Why give up a lot when you can get him for nothing next year. If they know he'll sign this year, the most they would give up is tampa's 2nd round pick. Think, Vesey came in with all of that hype, and he was traded to buffalo for a 3rd round pick. Fox is probably a tad better, but nowhere near worth kreider.
