As I rangers fan I wouldn’t even want that for the second overall pick Strome is unproven adb is good but I think he has help from good players on Chicago we don’t have a Kane or toews to complement him

What Kane and Toews? They don't play with them.
Strome and Debrincat play together, add any one from your roster and its basically 80-goal line guaranteed right there.

Well, you only trading them if you are signing Panarin and Duchene. I'll take Panarin over Cat, (he is more complete player) and MD over Strome. Yes they are more expensive, but this is only for 1 year, after that Cat and Strom will be not too far off from UFAs prices.
Plus Kakko and Cozens and Chicago becomes much better team NOW, and this is very important, for a chance to win another cup before Kaner and Tazer are gone.
Most will be signed for at least 4-5 year, and youngster will not need increases till 3 years from now, by then you will have Saad gone, Keith, Seabs bought out, deHaan out. etc... and Can also get rid of Duchene if Cozens becomes super good in 3 years.
