How is that? Barrie> Krug, Bjork has a higher ceiling than Andrighetto but Andrighetto is probably better atm and has similar value, the 2nd makes up for the value difference and the 3rd makes up for the RHD being in demand

Krug>Barrie and Bruins dont need RHD, he would play 3rd pairing on boston. Sven isnt good and theyre just gifting picks and bjork

Lol, if your think Krug is better than Barrie then I can’t help you, and especially if you think he would play behind Carlo then I really can’t help you

? Ignore the transactions but focus solely on the title where it declares Boston loses.

Not at all. I’m not pulling a Hertl. Just thought it was funny he ignored the trades/signings and the purpose of this website,

Over the last 3 years Krug ranks 5th in points among d-men and Barrie 8th. Neither is good defensively so it's not worth even talking about. At the end of the day though Krug > Barrie

Barrie isn’t great defensively but he is a hell of a lot better than Krug

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but given the choice majority of people are taking Krug lol. Maybe you wouldn't, but let me ask you this. Why is Barrie a hell of a lot better? What are you basing this on?

Based on watching them play, I don’t look at advanced stats because I think half of them are stupid, Advanced stats suggest Jake Gardiner is better defensively than Zaitsev but watching them play it is clear that that is nowhere near the truth, Gardiner and Krug are extremely similar except Krug has a little more offensive skill (better shot, slightly more creative) Barrie though I would compare more to Mcavoy, Good offensive instincts and capable of piling up the points but not bad defensively, not gonna be my first choice when I’m up by 1 but wouldn’t be worried to play him

Barrie has a slight edge over krug in physicality if anything. That’s absolutley not with giving up Björk and a 2nd for.

So just an eye test...

I'm going to just exit stage left. I don't even want to get into the Barrie/McAvoy comparison.
