What replaces saad then? Hawks would be in need of two top 6 fwds then. Can’t trade saad unless you got a replacement whether that’s panarin or someone else

Sorry should of been more clear. I am an Oilers fan and I don’t want Saad, I would rather keep Klefbom. He is a solid 2nd pair D man who is good at both ends and is on an amazing deal.

I hear you saad is valuable but forwards/scoring were not a problem this year defense was. Klefbom remedies that and we can also sign other players like dzingel to fill that role. Maybe even just a gustafsson + trade would work and we wouldnt have to trade saad.

Getting free agents are no guarantee. Maybe that trade would work but the hawks cannot allow themselves to fill one problem and cause another doing so. They gotta be careful before trading players like saad. They gotta make sure they have his replacement immediately or have it already
