Based on Bob McKenzie's latest list, Turcotte. He's ranked 7th, but someone always goes off the board so it's not unrealistic to think he might be available.

Oilers need a winger IMO. I could see a Boldy, Caufield or Zegras if he is move to wing.

Best Player available. EDM needs help everywhere. If Turcotte is there...then him.

Caufield would be a bold move. I have indeed seen how well he's been playing lately. Still a HUGE jump though. He was project in the LATE 1st a few weeks ago. Again, yes, huge numbers lately. Just seems like a "Oilers move" to reach

Turcotte is my first choice. After him then I think Boldy fits really well.

This can look good on paper but it rarely works out in reality. Two bottom-6 players aren't worth 1 top-6 player.

I think Cozens, Dach and Turcotte (as well as Byram) will all be gone by #8, but if Podkolzin goes early and someone else sneaks into the top 7 (Zegras? Boldy?), then maybe one of the centers will still be there.

He was projected mid first in January.

Remember what Bill Torrey said about Mike Bossy: I can teach a scorer to play acceptable defense. But I can't teach a guy how to score.

And remember that a couple of years ago, Alex Ovechkin was universally derided for his lack of defensive commitment.
