Failed and a restart? The rebuild in my opinion are their core players they acquired during it, which are 24 and under: Dermott, Kapanen, Matthews, Marner, Nylander. You only traded 1 of them. I’d add in Rielly as their core but he was acquired before the rebuild.

Why is Marleau waving his NMC for New Jersey? I guess it is not San Jose, but he is not waving unless he has assurances to be bought out and resigned for 1 year in Toronto.
