Not according to Leaf Fans, many think he will accept a bridge deal or a long term under $10 million per year. I saw one that had him at $8.5-8.75 per year. Their reasoning is that he’s a home town boy so he’ll do it for them. I wished them luck but doubtful because if that was the case I feel the deal would have been done already.

HAHA ya right. He will be 10+ million wehther they accept that fact or not.

If you give Marner 10m or more they will have ZERO money to upgrade their D. They will be another 1st round exit next season if they don't address their D. The only way to acquire a top D man is trading Marner.
