Right now, I would put Tavares and Crosby in there too. Maybe Couturier, Eichel, Malkin, etc
Anyways, why didn't you just do a custom team

I guess I should've specified starting a franchise with. Notice how all these guys are still pretty young. If I'm starting a franchise tomorrow, I'd pick Matthews over Bergeron, Crosby, Stamkos, Tavares

I’d add Eichel to the list too. Point, Barzal and Pettersson are also interesting conversations.

I'd definitely take Matthews over Eichel. If they were drafted same year it would've been McDavid, Matthews, Eichel. Not sure if I'm ready to say anything about Point/Barzal yet and if Petersson blows up next year, he'll definitely be on this list.
