Calgary trade is tilted our way. Jankowski is an RFA so no we will have longer control than 1 year. It’s not far off but I’m not sure Calgary wants another lefty in Kadri.

Don’t see redwings moving in that deal butvthe value seems fair.

That's a pretty smart trade. Might need to up the value a bit on the Toronto side of the fence.

Calgary trade is tilted to Toronto, but they risk losing both players after a year in exchange Calgary gets Kadri for three years. In the Detroit trade I was trying to find a trade with a team where the leafs move one of Johnsson or Kapanen for a young defenceman that is still on an ELC, which would solve a lot of cap problems as the leafs can then resign after Marleau is gone. The other option was Jokiharju on Chicago.

Nah... I'll even give TJ and Janks a lift to the airport.
Good riddance to both of them!
.....still a little sour.

To be honest Kadri (if he keeps his head) and brown would have helped spark your offence much the way Bennet did in the playoffs.

Jankowski is rfa so they are not usually traded with conditions on re signing. If his rights are traded or he is offersheeted then Toronto will get their compensation.

No way that the hawks move joki.

Here’s something I put up for @blowing_the_zone

As a Flames fan I'd take that trade all day assuming we could make the added salary work.

I still like what you put together in that agm. And if theres was a way to pry Rasmus Andersson in a trade I'd love to see the leafs try it.

Huh. Maybe? Both teams have some cap issues, star rfa signings on the horizon, and both teams might want to shake things up a bit after disappointing first round exits..
