Winnipeg would laugh you out of the building for that one.

LOL you're right, I thought he'd be worth a B prospect or a 3rd rounder. What do you think his value is?

Maybe, but to the Jets I think he has even higher value, meaning teams will have to overpay to get him. He plays center on a team that isn't deep at center and he is very good with undervalued stats, meaning his contract should be fairly team friendly.

When I look at the Oilers, there's nothing really of comparable value to trade for. Khaira, and Benning don't come close to his value, and all your big names are worth more.

Maybe one of Puljujarvi or Caleb Jones with a late round pick going either way to offset value. (Puljujarvi doesn't come close to Copp's value as it stands, but his ceiling would probably make it worth it.)

imo JP or Jones are way too valuable for Copp. I think Gambardella/Marody would be more ideal for trading purposes. Copp's ceiling looks like a 3C to me, something Gambardella/Marody are looking to be as well. Gambardella/Marody had great AHL seasons which is why it'd be kinda hard to trade one of them for Copp, however both haven't proven anything in terms of NHL production so there's that as well.

Lucic to Vancouver make sense to happen after July 1st, But Oilers probably have to take back Sutter or Eriksson.

I would do Lucic (1M retained) for Sutter all day. Although it'd be a bit tough watching him run our guys over for the next 4 years in the same division.

oo I think that's a good one. Really depends on who's on the board at 8. If it's a game breaker then I wouldn't. But that'd be a good trade imo.

Looking at Marody and Gambardella and they kind of reminds me of Appleton. Copp for Gambardella or Marody and a late round pick (5/6 or 7) would be pretty fair imo.
