Why wouldn't they? He's the perfect fit for what they need, if Toronto has any interest in trading Kadri the Jets should be all over that.

Decent 2C. Can produce 50-points a season. Also relatively cheap.

I like this idea, I think the Jets would have to send a 2nd round pick and maybe another mid round pick to Toronto but other then that I think this is fair for all involved and NY can easily absorb one year of Kulikov for the big prize in Trouba.

As a Ranger fan I think this would work for them, although Kulikov's cap hit of $4.33 mil would be just the 6th highest amongst their defenseman. Luckily the forwards don't make much money.
