Money is probably fine but the term is bad and he doesnt fit.. he is insanely good player but healthwise barely holds together now. And the way he plays game he doesnt fit. NJ already has number of defensively unreliable defencemen, EK is one of them. I would not be touching him in summer if I was NJ.

I agree I want nothing to do with EK. Whoever signs him is going to massively regret the contract in the latter part of it.

Unfortunately, he is going to only accept a long-term high dollar amount and so the team that signs him will suffer eventually. I feel like NHLers are getting quite greedy these days.

I don't blame Karlsson for taking that much money, who wouldn't, I blame the GM(s) who have to know it is going to be a bad contract in the long term and still line up to try and sign him. Hopefully Shero spends that money elsewhere.
