FLA laughs at that trade, and the TOR and WPG trades are really awful for the Hawks. The CAR trade is fine, although they have no desire for Forsling (they have Fleury, Bean, etc. all trying to crack that roster spot).

Trouba wants to play in the Eastern Conference, Not Western Conference. Rangers, Flyers, Red Wings, Lightning and Panthers are a few he's linked to. And no way Florida takes on an aging overpaid Seabrook for Yandle Florida wants to shed for both Panarin and Bobrovsky taking on Seabrook doesn't help that situation one bit.

That's what I thought but I have no knowledge of Ian Mitchell, who is he?

2nd round pick in 2017. Played for Canada at the WJC this year. He essentially took over the role left by Will Butcher at Denver.

LMAO unless Kap is the second coming of Kane it's not even close; Toronto fleeces the Hawks.

One of our top RHD prospects. Captain at Univ of Denver. It's not even close, Marleau is a cap dump and Sadd is worth a lot more then Kap.

Mitchell is probably the Hawks 2nd best D prospect (if you don't count Jokiharju as a prospect). Murphy was our best defenseman last year, and is a very reliable 2nd pairing shut down D man on a good contract. Trouba is easily better than both, but Trouba will fetch a lot of money that the Hawks don't need to spend. If the Hawks move Mitchell, it will be part of a package for a forward (or an NHL ready LHD), and that package won't include Murphy.

Kapanen is 22 and had a 44 point year. Saad will be 27 making 6million and has had more than 53 points. 1 year removed from a 35 point year. Hayden and Sikura have shown absolutely nothing.
