Though I agree optically there is a crunch, I don't think we are in cap trouble. Our non movable contracts are Neal and possibly Stone, other than that we can move nearly anything on our roster, mainly Frolik, Brodie, Jankowski, Czarnik, which clears up nearly 10 million dollars to sign a goalie. I think in a couple years when Valimaki, Andersson, Dube and Mang need to sign we will have to get a little more creative with contracts. This teams window is just opening up and Treliving negotiations with RFA's has created a sustainable model in Calgary that hopefully keeps them competitive for a very long time.

Your Team also has 7 players with one year on RFA/UFA so even though I still really like Brodie, his value back will be the best return, and if done this summer the 4.6 will go a long way to filling out whatever Tre. feels is needed, the same thoughts apply to Frolik but the return will be less.
