Funny how you have Aho signed for 7.2m long term. He is at least equal to Marner on the ice, but so many say Marner deserves 10.5m to 12mHuh? Probably both are somewhere in between would be appropriate.

Drouin isn’t worth that and the Canes wouldn’t likely make such a deal. He doesn’t fit the mold of the hard working, team-first player that they covet.

I don't see your team needing another left-handed forward. You guys need either a new young #2 center or a right-handed RW. Can I interest you in a slightly used William Nylander?

He also hasn't put up Marner numbers. I agree that I went short. 7.2 is more of a short term (2/3 year) deal. But he isn't doubled digits. I'd go between 8.5-9 for a long term deal (something more like what rantanen or barzel will get

Well played...think Pesce had more points that JD second half of season while playing his off side on defense.

I don't why you didn't check the comparison...but that would to much work to do. Two players haven't had much closer production figures in the past two years

one player 29g, 36a, 65p plus 4 in 2017/18. then 30/53/83/25 in 2018/19. the other player. 22/47/68/ minus 1. then 26/69/94/22. Couldn't be closer, so you're right both players about 9m.

Canes would not make that deal, Pesce is much more valuable to the team.

That;s a difference of 20 points each year. Sure, one is a center, but they could definitely be "closer"

That just shows how good of a season Drouin was having. Could you imagine if he played like that for the full season? Drouin would have 70 points
