Ottawa doesn’t do that deal. Darling has negative value and fleury looks like a bottom pairing dman

if you want to dump fleury you don't have to resign him as an RFA.

Darling is a nothing of a cap dump and isn't worth 2 2nd round picks.

You can either buy him out at roughly 1 mil per year for 4 years or put him in the minors for a 3 mil cap hit for 2 years. The buyout option seems more likely and worth while.
