I believe MTL has always had a lot of interest in Beaudin. I am sure he doesn't get you Suzuki but possibly another prospect and pick.

The way Suzuki is playing... hard to predict is real value as I feel MTL would ask for more... as Gus will be UFA after next season...
the risk is too high as Suzuki selling is very right now... but I like the Idea.
Maybe Saad + Gus for Suzuki & Shaw?
Or a 1st round swap + Gus for Suzuki?

Gus, Beaudin, and Forsberg for Suzuki, or Suzuki + Shaw (if MTL saw that as a camp dump).

LOL shaw isn't a cap dump he just got something like 45 pts in 55 games... Beside that, not a chance MTL trade Zuke, he looks simply too great right now and we need that sort of skilled players. I'd trade him for Jokiharju and a second, but even then, his potential is too high to let him go like that.

MTL doesn't need Forsberg... we already have Lindgren under contract... another fringe NHL 2nd goalie.
MTL doesn't have enough skilled player to trade Suzuki. Sorry choose someone else than KK, Poehling, Suzuki, Romanov, Brook.
and bu the way Shaw is not a cap dump! Just that we can't have 14 top 9 player roster

I said IF MTL saw him as a cap dump. Although I do remember the last 2 years where all mtl fans thought he was. And yeah youre not getting Joki+. Just figured MTL might be willing to part with one of their good center prospects because they have KK and Poehling.

I said IF they saw him as one, I remember a lot of acgm trading him over the past 2 years. I'm glad that shaw has found his place in MTL tho.

Works for me, as much as I love Gus. If I'm Montreal though, he better come with an extension

Really can’t see Habs moving Suzuki. Even if he’s probably 3rd among the Habs top 3 young Center’s (KK, Poehling, Suzuki), he still holds one organizational need for MTL that the others don’t have. He’s a righty. Also add that he can play RW (another organizational need for MTL), and that he showed a lot of potential at being able to quarterback a PP unit at the World juniors (what the Habs desperately need).

Suzuki checks too many boxes right now for the Habs.
