well, ya, that team looks great, but dear god, none of these teams would ever touch these trades. They heavily heavily heavily favor edmonton.

At least you kept the first this year. I would like Edmonton to keep Puljujärvi for at least 1 more year, then decide if they want to keep him.

Which trade favours Edmonton?

Buffalo trade saves them HUGE capspace and helps them sign Skinner and unloads Bogosian

Boston has Heinen, McAvoy and Carlo to sign this summer....with Chara and Debrusk next year. They will need unload a D. Lucic is more serviceable than Backes and the 2nd Round pick makes up for the extra years on Lucic's deal until you consider buying him out. And that doesn't even take into account the salary retained.

A.A. isn't re-signinng with Detroit as it's already been reported that there were issues during contract negotiations. The salaries even out and Gagner is off the books as Detroit continues to rebuild.

Winnipeg needs to move someone to sign Connors, Laine and Myers....plus they get Laine's good buddy and 1st Rounder next year.

Carolina gets Kassian on a one year tryout to replace Ferland.

I don't see where any one trade favours either team

Alright let's go down the list.
Buffalo isn't giving Risto away for nothing
The boston trade is one of the worst I've ever seen. They take on a player who is worse (they're both garbage) for 2 additional years, when a lot of signs point to Backes being pretty movable. He may retire after his bonus, He has some legitimate LTIR concerns with his concussion history, and his NMC is now gone (although he does have a partial NTC and no, he won't be taking a trade to Edmonton). Then the bruins decide to throw in a 59 point defenseman for the hot garbage that is Sekera, along with his horrible contract. The rest of the pieces are nothing. Bruins counter with a 6th rounder for McDavid...it's literally just as realistic.
AA is an RFA after next year, so they still have his rights. He's awesome and you're trading trash for him.

You know what, I'm just going to stop right there, they're all just so insanely lopsided that I don't want to look at them anymore.

laugh All of those trades benefit Edmonton not the other teams, You're not getting Ristolainen for trash. And Andreas Athanasiou would cost you either Ryan Nugent-Hopkins or Darnell Nurse not that trash. Not a single one of your trades benefits the other teams only Edmonton. And they're not giving up good assets for garbage.

Where is your proof that AA isn't resigning? Because all the news in Detroit is AA is going to get extending this summer. The holdout is old news if this was season your comment might have been right but now he is one Blashill's favorites. When Larkin was hurt Blashill had AA picking up all his responsibilities.

Make no mistake if AA gets traded to Edmonton its only happening if RNH is coming to Detroit. The only way Gagner is going to be productive at this pointing his career is in The AHL and I'm not sure Lagesson will make it past The AHL for any more than a handful of games.

I think the Carolina trade is pretty good, canes get a good 4th line grinder for only moving down the draft 10-20 spots. Whether they would or wouldnt do that trade is a coin flip, but it is realistic

I will often create a post based on trades suggested by other AG just to get additional reactions. I will also create posts to help me understand the value of Sabres. When I get all negative comments, I thank every one and modify my thoughts and believe the other AG who protest my trades not try to defend my erroneous concepts. Other than the Kassian trade none of the other teams would accept the trades yo proposed. You are trading cap dumps and under-performing players to obtain quality players.
