Lucic might waive for this trade, because he has a better chance to have more ice time in NJ than in EDM.
If he doesn't waive, try to get Sekera or Russell to waive and give cap room to EDM.
If, however, none of them waive, the prospect could be bumped to a better one, either Mcleod, Anderson or Boqvist

The problem is that Caufield is still 2-3 years away from being an NHL player, and this trade really hurts our Defense and our salary cap. You're trading away important, impact players for the Devils and getting back lottery tickets.

Pretty good trade for both sides. Devils are not using their cap space so might as well take on a bad contract this way. Puljujärvi could be very interesting.
