Hey, I thought it would be useful to have one big thread to report all cap errors that you find instead of making many separate threads.
I'll be adding any errors I spot soon.

What are your thoughts on this Banks?

On the Dallas Stars - Travis Morin signed a 2-year extension, I believe both years @ 550,000, so he is no longer a UFA. This was actually a bit back, just noticed, figured I'd pass along.

http://stars.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=750028

Also - Ville Pokka with Chicago is listed as a 'C', but is actually a 'D'

Love the site. If ya ever need help keeping things going, would be happy to support!

Thanks, both have been fixed. Morin's AHL salary is unconfirmed, but his NHL salary is and its a two-way deal.

You can move Val Nichushkin from LTIR, he was activated and played for the Stars before season's end. Not sure if he ever was on LTIR, Peverley was and that gave the Stars all the cap room they needed.

Great site, BTW.

Markus Granlund is missing from the Flames team page. $925,000 per year and expires in 2016.

Pitt:

I believe Pouliot's cap hit should include part of his 425k bonus per 82 gp for the 2015-16 season. Makes his cap hit higher, somewhere over 1 million.
I also think Kapanen's contract expires after 2016-17 now because he was brought over to play in the AHL playoffs.

I also think Kapanen's contract expires after 2016-17 now because he was brought over to play in the AHL playoffs.

Teams are permitted to go over the cap by 7.5% due to bonuses (CBA 50.5 h (ii)), so bonus's earned are calculated separately from the teams cap hit for these reasons, on a player page the AAV value includes the performance bonuses.

You're right about Kapanen which is indicated by the entry level slide included on his contract (https://hockeyscap.com/players/kasperi_kapanen)

Cheers!

Two requests on your page:

- a special list for modified contracts in chronological order
- a temporary list for tendered or not tendered qualified offers

Please promote Tierney from AHL to the Roster. He became a graduate last season. Played 43 games and had 10 points in the last 10 games as he steadily improved. Took over the 3rd line C position, while Hertl was moved to LW

We wont be able to have a list prepared for this year due to time constraints (we will be updating the players who did not receive QO's to UFA's shortly) but it is something we plan on including in future years

Oilers : Jordan Oesterle - listed under both roster and non-roster. Should be non-roster.

Riley Barber's profile picture is an old picture (and funny one I might add) of Jay Beagle.

They even have the wrong one on NHL.com! Probably where the confusion arose.

Dylan Larkin is listed as the 1st overall 2014 pick. A bit confusing when looking at mock drafts
