Question, why does Arizona want to move the perfect contract for a cap floor team in Hossa for Marleau? Hossa has a $5,275,000 cap hit, but only $1M in actual salary.

Even if the trade is for a retired Marleau.....then the trade is is Crouse for Timashov and a fourth....Why does Arizona do that?

Because the rest of the NHL wants to help the Leafs. Surprised Arizona isn't buying him out so he can re-sign with the Leafs for minimum...

so they can Resign Marleau then trade him straight up for Pesce
