He was one of the best prospects at last years training camp, here's hoping that continues. Although I think both brothers were projected as 3rd line players, so wouldn't be so hard on Michael yet.

His brother on NJD doesn't seem to have much of a future in the NHL. I think his ceiling is as a 4th liner/Penalty killer at this point. He has good speed, but his hockey skills are def. lacking. I think the Devils have drafted really well in recent years w/ the exception of Michael McLeod.

Actually, the 2016 Draft has really produced a ton of NHL players who were drafted outside of the 1st round. The last 20 or so picks of the 1st round has been a little disappointing. A lot of teams really missed on their 1st round picks in 2016.

Not every prospect who does well in training camp does well in the NHL or even makes the NHL

Very true. Based on his OHL performance, his camp was a surprise though, being a step up in competition. Looking forward to seeing how he progresses in the AHL next year - not sure if he'll get into any Condors games this spring.
