I don't see Kapanen being allowed to walk for a 2nd pick, but I like your moxie.

Lindgren would probably fetch a 4th easily, which begs the question why you think Byron is worth so little. I am not one of the people who believes Byron is a "core" player, but he's good enough to fetch something more than a 3rd rounder. He's likely more like two second-round picks staggered over a couple of years.
