STOP!!!

San Jose does not have cap space to sign it's own players, so why would they want Marleau when 2 years ago they only offered a 2 year contract.

carolina, san jose, and marleau all say absolutely not. vancouver trade is probably accepted, and I think you're just a year too long on the Marner deal.

1. Pesce is worth more, he is too valuable to the Canes.
2. Marleau is playing out his contract
3. Stetcher may be a right handed defencemen, but he is not physical which is a key attribute there looking for
