I think that’s giving up too much on the Lucic trade.
I think Lucic and a 3rd would get Schneider.
Schneider hasn’t been playing well for the Devils.
Lucic’s contract is an extra year, but his cap hit is higher than his actual wage, so this might be enticing for the Devils. Just throw in the 3rd round pick (or Benning) to make up for the extra year.
