Team: 2018-19 Tampa Bay Lightning
Team Explanation
Tampa needs some grit but not long term contracts .. NYR need forwards .. hardly any on contract from 2020 onward and doesnt care about 2019 cap
Trades
TBL
  1. Strome, Ryan
Additional Details:
RW with some size .. high potential not realized .. NYR has others .. Vesey Fest etc. But thought Strome must likely ..
NYR
  1. Callahan, Ryan
  2. Joseph, Mathieu
Additional Details:
Unlike Tampa .. most NYR forwards over 6 and 200 lbs so Joseph would be finesse forward for NYR .. Callahan mentors young NYR guys for last year home.. Tampa could package any of the middle guys or Sergachev but not sure NYR would want.

At the same time Strome had a great year after he was traded to NYR (33 pts in 63 games im pretty sure). They aren't just selling him for a cap dump and future 3rd liner

Just trade Stamkos for Chara since you love size so much...

JOSEPH a 21 year old rookie that has 26 pts but take Gourde Johnson Palat or Killorn .. they all 45 pts ish .. not sure Strome is in NYR long term plans .. Tampa could take other NYR forwards .. NYR should take better player and Callahan does have value as mentor to Fox and 3 #1s they will draft ..

I don’t think the rangers are looking at taking on unless it’s a potential top 6 forward sweetening the deal.

They don’t need bottom 6 forwards, that’s for sure.
