the pitts trade is horrible. habs will prov stay away from maata. he's not a huge upgrade over what we have.

I don't mind the Pittsburgh trade in terms of value, but I don't think that Montreal would trade Byron after just signing him to a contract extension.

Duchene isn’t from Quebec, his hometown is close to Ottawa and his favourite team growing up was Colorado. I don’t see him pulling a “pajama boy” move and going to either of those teams

He grew up watching the habs with his father and grandfather, he then became an Avs fan after Patrick Roy got traded. He said all that in an interview he did while he still was with the Avs. I don't see him signing for the Avs again so why not his "second" best team. MTL needs an elite center.
